Priority Club® Rewards was recognized this month as the "Best Hotel Rewards Program in the World" as voted by the readers of Global Traveler magazine; www.globaltravelerusa.com. This recognition came shortly after the program launched "Any Hotel, Anywhere," the innovative reward that allows members to redeem points for a prepaid lodging card that can be used at virtually any hotel in the world - even a rivals' property. Rewards such "Any Hotel, Anywhere" and Personal Shopper, and special features such as no blackout dates on Reward Nights and no point expiration, have helped make the program the largest and fastest-growing hotel guest loyalty program in the world.

"It's an honor to be recognized as the best hotel loyalty program by the readers of a publication as respected as Global Traveler,” said Steve Sickel, senior vice president, multi brand & relationship marketing, IHG. “This recognition is especially gratifying since it's from the most frequent travelers and tells us that we are on the right track. It also reflects our success in enhancing the member experience by offering the most reward options of any program, highlighted by the ability to redeem from over 500,000 choices."

If adults made wish lists for Santa, a Sony 45" flat screen TV would likely top most lists. But not for Kyle Lindsworth of Hutchinson, Minn. Kyle, an 8-year member of Priority Club® Rewards, recently got himself such a TV without spending a dime. As a field service manager for a German parts distributor, Kyle stays at Holiday Inns more than 150 nights a year and has earned hundreds of thousands of program points. He recently redeemed a large number of these points for the 45" Sony flat screen TV through the Personal Shopper program.

The Personal Shopper program allows members to exchange their points for merchandise they can't find in the Priority Club Rewards catalogue -- items such as a laptop, X Box 360 or GPS navigation system. Kyle has taken full advantage of the Personal Shopper benefit by using his points on all kinds of products, including the TV, Mother's day presents and birthday gifts for friends and family.

On the road for business more than a third of the year, Kyle often doesn't have time to get to the stores to shop. "Priority Club Rewards has been great," he said. "I can get whatever I want by letting the Personal Shopper get it for me!" In addition to doing his shopping with Priority Club, Kyle also uses his Priority Club Rewards Visa® card for nearly every purchase and earns points for future Personal Shopper purchases and hotel stays. To contact a Personal Shopper, call 1-800-253-0128 or complete a request form online at priorityclub.com/shopper.
